Morocco trip – 6-12 Nov 2026 – 5 days driving

Welcome to Morocco. A journey through time and space, across vast landscapes and through authentic villages bustling with life – with goats, donkeys and people constantly on the move. Here you get close to everyday life, far from the usual tourist trails. We take the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier, and the adventure begins in earnest as we set off on our journey. Along the way and at border crossings, passports and travel documents must be presented several times. This is part of the charm and experience of traveling between two worlds that are geographically close to each other, but which still feel like two completely different worlds. The journey takes us through northern Morocco, where we stay in carefully selected hotels with a distinctive character, strategically located near the places we visit. Along the way, we encounter dramatic mountain landscapes, coastal towns and small local communities where traditions are strong. We also visit Ceuta, the Spanish enclave located on a small headland along the North African coast. Here, the contrasts become striking in just a few kilometers – from Moroccan markets and bustling alleys to Spanish boulevards and a distinctly European atmosphere. It is precisely these encounters – between cultures, surroundings and people – that make this journey so special. Road conditions vary along the way, and the standard can sometimes be simple. This is also part of the experience, and it makes the journey even more exciting and authentic. However, we drive exclusively on paved roads. Welcome.
